Today I’m shining the spotlight on one of the books I read an excerpt for during the first round of BBNYA 2023. I read a 2K word excerpt of The Marauders, the Daughter, and the Dragon by K.R.R. Lockhaven during the first round of BBNYA and I loved it. The excerpt pulled me into the story and it made me want to read more. I want to know more about the main character and see what kind of adventure unfolds. I’m definitely planning on reading this book soon to find out what happens next.

To say that Azure Brine is at odds with her father would be an understatement.
