The Weather Tag

Hello Everyone!

It’s Thursday, which means it’s book tag day! Today I’m doing The Weather Tag. I stumbled upon this book tag on Beneath A Thousand Skies and it looked like a lot of fun. If you aren’t following Rowena’s blog, you really should!

Sunshine: A Book That Made You Smile

The most recent book to make me smile was Tastes Like Shakkar by Nisha Sharma. I finished this book earlier this week and it was steamy and a lot of fun. If you’re interested, here’s my review of Tastes Like Shakkar.

Rain: A Book You Couldn’t Put Down

It’s been a disappointingly long time since I’ve read a book that I just couldn’t put down. The most recent book I can think of is Cursed in Love by Zoe Ashwood, which was one of the BBNYA 2022 finalists. This book was full of adventure and steam and I was hooked. If you’re interested, heres my review of Cursed in Love.

Wind: A Book that Blew You Away

The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston blew me away. I went into this book not knowing what to expect because the ghost aspect seemed a bit strange to me. This book made me feel all kinds of feelings and I loved it so much.

Hurricane: A Tragic Book

This is a really tough question because while I read plenty of books with tragic things in them, they usually have some sort of happily ever after or happily for now in them or some positives to balance out the tragedy. While not necessarily tragic, Ghost Forest by Pik-Shuen Fung deals with some heavy topics like family relationships, death, and grief and it kind of works for this question. If you’re interested, here’s my review of Ghost Forest.

Blizzard: A Book You Had High Expectations For

I had high expectations for Meet Me At the Lake by Carley Fortune. There was a lot of hype surrounding this book when it was released and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The book wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t what I was expecting, which was disappointing. If you’re interested, here’s my review of Meet Me At the Lake.
