Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
Since my last update, I finished reading The Housekeepers by Alex Hay. I’m hoping to have my review of it up tomorrow, so for now I’ll say that I thought it was a solid debut and I quite enjoyed it.
Now that I’m done reading The Housekeepers, I’m going to turn my attention back to Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune. But first, I have to tackle my BBNYA extracts.
In book mail news, my copy of Assistant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer arrived this week. This book sounds like a lot of fun and I’m looking forward to reading it.
I don’t know why, but I was overly tired for most of this week.
On Tuesday, my brother stopped by to do something for my Dad. He also got to meet Jack and Arthur. They acted shy, but eventually they started to play with him a bit.
On Wednesday, I went to go see my boyfriend after work. He made ramen for dinner, which was delicious.
Friday night was book club night. We talked about The Housekeepers and we picked Heartless by Marissa Meyer for our next book club pick.
Yesterday, a friend stopped by to meet Jack and Arthur. They were very well behaved and less shy.
