Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.

As far as bookish things go, this was a relatively quiet week for me. I was fairly busy most of the week, so I didn’t have much time to read. I did start The Whistlers in the Dark by Victoria Williamson though, which is currently on tour with The Write Reads.
In other bookish news, my book bestie Hannah got me The Tea Dragon Society by K O’Neill for my birthday, which I’m very excited to dive into soon.

This has been a crazy busy week for me.
My 30th birthday was on Tuesday. The day itself wasn’t that exciting. I went to work, came home and made chicken alfredo with broccoli for dinner and had some prosecco and chocolate cake to celebrate.

On Wednesday, I brought Jack and Arthur to the vet for their final round of vaccines. They were both very good boys.
On Thursday, I went to my boyfriend’s house for my birthday dinner. He ordered Italian food and bought me wine, flowers, a candle, and a few other things. It was a great evening.

On Friday, I went out with my best friend to celebrate our birthdays. Her birthday is on September 23rd and we always go out to do something between our birthdays to celebrate. We went to a gastro pub for apps and cocktails.

Yesterday, I went to my Aunt’s house for pizza. My cousin from Las Vegas is in town and it was nice to catch up with him, and with my Aunt and Uncle. I also got to hangout with their cat, which is always a fun bonus.
This was a fun week, but I’m glad I’m spending the day in my pajamas because I need a break from socializing to recharge.

Too much socialising can definitely be a bad thing but your food all sounds and looks amazing. Happy 30th Birthday 🍾
