Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
This was another relatively quiet week for me as far as bookish things go. I finished reading The Whistlers in the Dark by Victoria Williamson on Monday and I haven’t really read much since.
This was a long week because I had a bit of a cold for most of it.
On Sunday, I had a very laid back day because last week was too busy. I made a pot of butternut squash soup, which was tasty, but I need to play with the recipe a bit because it was missing something.
On Thursday, Jack discovered how to get on top of the curtain box. I was not impressed with this development because he can now get on top of all kinds of things. Of course, his brother also quickly figured out how to do this so now I have to worry about ceiling cats.
On Friday, I spent the evening video-chatting with my two former roommates from University. It was nice to catch up with them, even if they kept me up way past my bedtime.
On Saturday, my best friend turned 30 and she had a little party. It was a fun night, there was a lot of food, and I enjoyed watching 13 Going on 30 with her and her friends. It was also another late night, which is why I’m so tired today.
