Hello Everyone!
Today is Thursday which means it’s book tag day! Today I’m doing the Book Blogger Insider Tag which I found over on Twirling Book Princess, if you aren’t following Mehsi’s blog you really should! It looks like this tag was created by A Little Slice of Jamie, but it appears that their blog has been set to private.
I’m not tagging anyone specific in this one, but if you’re looking for a tag to do, consider yourself tagged!

Have fun!
Where Do You Typically Write Your Blog Posts?
As far as where I physically write my posts go, that depends. I’m currently drafting this post at work, but I prefer to draft at home, usually from my bed or the kitchen table.
How Long Does It Generally Take You To Write A Book Review?
This really depends on the book and my ability to focus when I’m trying to write. Sometimes I can draft a review in fifteen to twenty minutes, sometimes I rewrite my first paragraph seventeen times and two hours later my review is still a bunch of disjointed nonsense.
When Did You Start Your Book Blog?
According to WordPress, this little blog was started in late 2017, though I would say that it wasn’t until 2020 when I started putting a decent amount of effort into it.
What Is The Worst Thing About Having A Book Blog In Your Opinion?
I don’t know what the worst thing is because there are a lot of things that don’t bother me. I don’t let ARCs or the need to review books by a certain date bother me, I’m also not super interested in stats which takes away a lot of potential stress. If I had to pick something, it would be figuring out where to share my posts. With the emergence of so many new social media sites, it can be hard to keep track of where to share posts.
What Is The Best Thing About Having A Book Blog In Your Opinion?
The book blogger community is the best. I’ve met so many great people through blogging and I love discovering new books through all of the different book bloggers out there.
What Blog Post Have You Had The Most Fun Writing So Far?
I’ve done a few Top 5 Tuesday posts that were a lot of fun. Some recent posts that come to mind are Top 5 Dedications and Top 5 Jobs that Only Exist in Books.
What Is Your Favourite Type Of Blog Post To Write?
I enjoy Top 5 Tuesday posts and Book Tag posts the most. I like having a theme or a set of questions to write about, it makes things a bit easier for me to manage.
When Do You Typically Write?
Usually I write in the evenings, sometime between eating dinner and getting ready for bed. Other times, like today, I have a tab open at work and I’m fitting in a sentence here and there.
Do You Review Every Book You Read?
I don’t review every book I read because sometimes I just don’t have enough to say about a book to make it worthwhile to write a review.
How Do You Write Your Book Reviews? With A Cup Of Coffee Or Tea? With Netflix? Cuddled With Your Fur Baby?
My book reviews are fueled by either tea or wine, and lately, a heavy dose of me telling the kittens “hey, stop doing that!” or “what did you steal now!?”
When Do You Write Your Book Reviews? Right After Finishing The Book? Two Weeks After Finishing The Book?
This depends on the book and what else I have going on. Ideally, I’d like to review books right after finishing or a few days after, but sometimes it’s a few weeks later.
How Often Do You Post?
In general, I have posted on my blog every day since January 1, 2022. As far as reviews go, I typically only post those on Monday, unless it’s for a blog tour or something.

brb telling your boss that you’re doing blogging at work 😜
Great tag and answers ☺️. I always write my reviews after finishing a book, if I waited even a week to write a review I’d forget about the book😅
I’m totally with you on not letting in the things that seem to stress a lot of bloggers out. I always caution new bloggers about jumping into all the things with deadlines because it seems to burn so many bloggers out. Fun tag!
Yay! So happy to see the tag appear on your blog~! Yay for Top 5 + Book tag posts, those are so much fun to do. Haha, at your naughty kittens, I know the feeling though, my puppy (now almost 9 months) is also at times doing things that I would go, oh no, what did you do now? 🤣
