Hello Everyone!
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Crazy-For-Books and is now being hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer.
Every Friday, a new question is posted for bloggers to answer during the week. The purpose of the Book Blogger Hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and maybe even receive some new blog followers.
This week’s question is:
Never judge a book by its film adaptation. Do you concur?
(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
I agree with this statement. I don’t think you can judge a book by its film adaption. Film and/or television is such a different medium than written text and unfortunately it’s not always possible to translate a book to screen due to either run time, technology, budget, or a whole bunch of other possible reasons. I think the other reason why you can’t judge a book by its film adaption is because a lot of the time the author has very little to no involvement with the adaption. The rights to their book are picked up by some film studio and they have very little say with what happens after that.
