Weekly Wrap-Up – 8 October 2023

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.

Right now, I’m still reading A Witch’s Guide to Fake Dating a Demon. Once I finish this post, I’m hoping to curl up in bed and read it for a while.

As far as book mail goes, this was another good week for book mail. My bookish bestie bought me One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid. My Indigo birthday order also arrived this week and I added Payback’s a Witch and In Charm’s Way by Lana Harper, Not the Witch You Wed by April Asher, and Dread Wood and Fear Ground by Jennifer Killick.

This was another chaotic week at work for me, but at least this is a long weekend for me.

Earlier this week I put out some of my Halloween decorations. I don’t have much and I still have a few things left to put out in the next few days.

On Saturday, I went on a wine tour with my brother and sister-in-law. The tour went to two wineries and one distillery. Two of the wine samples at the first winery were much sweeter than I’m use to, but otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience and I’ll definitely be trying to go on another tour next year.

Today, my family celebrated Thanksgiving. We went to my Aunt’s house for dinner. I did some baking for it and I made brownies, cinnamon roll blondies, and an attempt was made at carrot cake cheesecake bars (they didn’t look pretty but they tasted alright).

In other news, I tried the nail wraps from Lily and Fox this week and I really like them! They were super easy to put on my nails and I’m happy with how they look!.
