Weekly Wrap-Up – 15 October 2023

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.

I haven’t been reading much lately, which makes me a bit sad. To rectify this and hopefully get my reading mojo back I’ve set myself the goal of reading 1000 pages this week. Today is my start day, and I’ll let everyone know how I did during next week’s weekly wrap-up. I’m starting my reading challenge with a reread of City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab with a plan of diving into Tunnel of Bones as soon as I’m finished.

In book mail news, my copy of My Roommate is a Vampire by Jenna Levine arrived this week and I’m looking forward to reading it soon.

I had Monday off of work for Thanksgiving and instead of relaxing, I ended up taking all of the books off of my shelves and reorganizing them. This turned into an all day project but I am happy with how it turned out. I haven’t taken a picture of my shelves yet, but here’s a picture from when I was trying to sort out some of my many romances.

Lots of romance books spread out on a bed with a black cat curled up underneath one.

The rest of my week was fairly average. Work was a bit chaotic, but that’s nothing new. Jack and Arthur are also pretty chaotic, but they’re so cute that they’re allowed to get away with all of their crimes.

A black cat and an orange and white cat lay sprawled out on a bed.

In other news, I painted my nails this weekend. I ordered some nail stickers that I’ve been playing around with and I’m kind of enjoying having Halloween nails.
