Hello Everyone!
How is it almost November?! I can’t believe October had flown by and it’s already time for the November prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge!
If you’re new to the TBR Tackle Challenge, it’s a reading challenge that I co-host with from.TBR.to.READ, theartsy_bookworm88, and hplreads. The goal of the challenge is to read the books that you already own and to “tackle your TBR.” Every month, we post five prompts to help you decide what books to read from your existing TBR. You can use the same book for multiple prompts, and you don’t have to pick books for all of the prompts if you don’t want to. The TBR Tackle Challenge started on Instagram, but we’re also on Twitter, Goodreads, and Storygraph.
Here are the November prompts!

Starts with V or W
Once again, we’re carrying on with the alphabet this month and now we’re tackling “V” and “W”! Read a book that has a title that starts with either “V” or “W” for this prompt. It’s up to you how you treat titles that start with “The” or “A”.
Gloomy Book
I find November to be a gloomy month. It gets dark earlier, the leaves are gone from the trees, the flowers are gone from the garden, the cold weather arrives, and sometimes there’s snow. To fit with this gloomy theme, read a gloomy book.
Circle on the Cover
November 2nd is Look for Circles Day. To celebrate this weird holiday, look for circles on your shelves and read a book with a circle on the cover.
Middle Grade or YA Book
November 14th is National Young Readers Day. To celebrate this bookish holiday, read a middle grade or a young adult book.
Book That’s Been Adapted to Screen
November 21st is World Television Day. To celebrate all things TV, read a book that’s been adapted to either a television show or a movie.
If you have any questions about the November prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge, please let me know! Happy TBR Tackling!
