Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week, or in this case, the past two weeks.

I just want this reading slump to end! What fictional character do I have to make a bargain with to get my reading motivation back? I have so many books on the go, but I don’t feel motivated to pick up any of them and I end up playing games (Eatventure and Subway Surfer) on my phone instead.

Not a ton has happened since my last weekly update.

Work has been work. It hasn’t been overly exciting or busy, which makes it a bit dull.

Our furnace broke on November 1st, which was not fun because it was fairly chilly that day. What was even less fun was that the replacement furnace didn’t come in until the 7th. We have heat now and fortunately most of the days we didn’t have heat weren’t horrendously cold. It’s also a good thing that I own an excessive amount of blankets because they came in handy.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Survivor the past two weeks. I haven’t been a huge fan of this season, but there were a few moments last week and the week before that made for some entertaining television.

Jack and Arthur have been troublemakers, especially Arthur. Some of Arthur’s hobbies include stealing coins, pulling pushpins out of the cork board, and hanging out on top of the window vallances. Jack has decided that the best way to eat his dry food is to scoop some out with his paw, drop it on the floor, and chase it around the kitchen before finally eating it. They’re lucky they’re so damn cute.

  1. Oh no! I’m really sorry that you don’t feel like picking up any of your books at the moment. I often go back to an old favourite and reread something that I know I will enjoy when I feel like that. I hope that you get your reading mojo back soon.
